Get some exercise as we take a hike through the woods to Dames Caves to explore the areas around and inside of the caves. Dames Caves located is about 25 minutes south of Downtown Inverness. We will be meeting at the trailhead at 11:00am. Parking is located on side of the road. This hike is estimated to be 1-2 miles (2 hours) with rest periods and exploring. Due to the uneven terrain, this hike may not be suitable for those who have touble walking for an hour or more. Some of the caves will require climbing in and out of if you choose to.

What to bring:

Flashlight

Cell phone

Plently of water

Packed lunch and/or snacks

Bug spray

Sunscreen

Dress for the weather:

Comfortable clothing, layers if needed

Hiking boots or non-slip walking shoes

Please note there will not be any public restrooms. This is nature :)
